The serious issue of “robocalls” and election fraud have rightly generated intense concern among Canadians. These calls were made during the last federal election to voters to harass and mislead them about their voting location (they were instructed to vote at the wrong place). These practices undermine the integrity of our democracy.
If you think that you got a call during the last federal election period that you felt interfered with your right to vote, or you have information about such calls, Elections Canada wants to hear from you. It has created an online complaint form that you can access at:
To avoid confusion and duplication, Elections Canada asks that you please make your complaint directly to them, and not elsewhere.
Thanks so much for your cooperation!
