Vancouver Sun: Stalwart Vancouver politician and activist Libby Davies covers a lot of ground in new memoir

Davies emigrated from England in 1968 at the age of 15. Five years later she took her first steps into grassroots activism. That grew into a lot of boots-on-the-ground work alongside her activist partner and former city councillor Bruce Eriksen and others. Making change and righting wrongs was the fuel that kept Davies and her compatriots — or comrades, depending on your politics — marching, protesting and putting pressure on politicians. Then Davies herself became a politician.
