Be a radical & save our coast!

Yesterday, I joined many of my fellow BC NDP MPs and our Environment Critic, Megan Leslie, at a public forum in Vancouver to discuss the Enbridge pipeline, and devastating effects it could have on our coast.  We had a great discussion with many concerned BCers, you can check out our full discussion here:

If you are not already aware of the issue, you should know that the Conservatives want to help Enbridge Inc. build a 1,177 km pipeline from the oilsands to BC’s north coast—to ship raw bitumen overseas in supertankers.  Furthermore, their budget bill guts environment reviews for big energy projects like this one.  And cabinet ministers are trying to dismiss pipeline opponents as “radicals.”  To learn more about the pipeline and how you can get involved, check out this website:
