Please check out this great video from my federal NDP colleague Niki Ashton, MP for Churchill. The video documents her community’s struggle to save over 600 jobs at a nickel smelter and refinery in Thompson, Manitoba. It is a bid not just to save these jobs, but also heart of their community, and to take a stand for so many communities like theirs in Canada. My federal NDP colleagues and I stand alongside them.
