I wanted to tell you about the new features added to Parliament’s HANSARD website, where you can check out what an MP says and votes in Parliament. House of Commons staff have recently updated the website, so you can now check out how an MP votes, watch video simultaneously while reading a speech, and share an MP’s words on Facebook or Twitter, all in one stop.
To check out the new features, go to: http://www.parl.gc.ca/HousePublications/Publication.aspx?Pub=hansard&Language=E&Mode=1&Parl=41&Ses=1, and go to the ‘lastest debates’ tab for Parliament. You can then pick a date and MP who you would like to see speak. Click on the MP’s name in the HANSARD record, and all the new features will appear below their name.
